honestly, that camera is shite.
it is a kodak internal with horrible metering. you can get a lot more camera, for much less moolah....

you may be correct, tk. i actually forget which it is.
regardless, Leica digital are known to be crap. too bad, as the M6 is one of the most awesome products ever designed.

i would say Canon if you want a pure point/shoot. just pick one based on needs.

i have D-lux 3
one great thing about this camera is that it shoots RAW and have manual controls (which is hard to use)
you can select aspect ratio also
i love this camera, its small but something quick that i would pull out while shooting raw
BUT if you are not a fool like me, who cares about what it looks like on the outside, get the panasonic.

but getting a panasonic would be better since its cheaper
i wanted a small point and shoot that shoots RAW
and this was perfect for it

i hear you for sure- those are cool features. i just know so many things about the actual picture-making qualities of it sucking, it is interesting to hear you find it to be acceptable, just for fun, or not.

under a right lighting, it took really good pictures

so it would be all about "this lens" which wouldn't be enough for me personally
