C4D: Viable?

Just done a bit of research about external renderers such as final render and maxwell render for mac osx not really having any support - anyone know about this?

when you say "industry" what do you mean? I use c4d everyday in broadcast because its a simple one-man pipeline, but it was also used to do the whole monster house and open season movies by imageworks.
What did you want to know about mograph calles?

works fn great for me.

nothing against CD4, but MonsterHouse was horrible. The mocap was eerie looking.
I hear time and again that any professional grade 3d package can produce equal quality work. It's more a factor of the artist working the controls.
