So for any of you that care answer...
If you believe in ghosts, what does this imply for what else you believe in? A spiritual reality, God?
As a Christian (not the sort you might be thinking of), a spiritual reality makes sense to me. Just wondering what effect believing in ghosts has on your beliefs.
- M0NEYCIDE0
yes ghosts are really real. Halifax is haunted.
- M0NEYCIDE0
i beleive there's more layers of reality and our minds experience it in different ways whether it be time or spirits or deeper spacial dimensions. third eye is a real form of perception and with lucid dreaming you can meet people i swear. so ghosts i think are somehow related, don't know how or why but they are.

Or, as a species, we're just too stupid where some things are concerend, so have to fill in the gaps with imagined artefacts,

-----------------I would think that knife could cut both ways. Scientific naturalists can be pretty smug as well.
It's foolish to think that we have it all figured out no matter what side you stand on. Be it Dawkins or Jesus.
Heck -
1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

That genuinely wasn't a dig against any religion, planet01 - I was just using absolute language.
I wouldn't for one minute, no matter how smug i may be, discount myself from my own species.
- Nairn0
(I was talking about ghosts - not your god).
- planet010
no problem... and I wasn't saying your smug... or a scientist.
- CALLES0
there are freaky noises coming out of my stomach... is there a ghost in there?
- Nairn0
I'd consider myself a scientific naturalist - it's got a nice ring to it.
