I have a client that wants me to put his three businesses (logos, phone, fax and address information, and web/email links) on a business card.
I told him it would look cluttered.
He said "You're a designer. Figure it out."
I did. It looked still cluttered on both sides of the card, but he liked it.
His reaction: "If this is going to cost more to print both sides, put everything on one side and try to make it look less cluttered."
I'm going home for the day.

Lay it all out in 3.5 pt type, with plenty of white space. That should do it!

I've seen so many business cards lately with 4 or more logos and emails etc. on them... fucking ridiculous. it's just a pissing contest; "Hi, I'm stupid and I own this many businesses like you even fucking care!"

You should be telling him, "Men in your position are no longer using mere business cards. They're using the new multi-panel business introduction kits I've been designing for my special and exclusive very successful business executive clients." Then sell him a huge set of brochures, each in its own special kid-finish folder, with color-coordinated, hand-tipped inserts of his latest press clippings.
Don't miss this opportunity to upsell the cheap tosser. Many times over. Remember:

fuck his wife and put photos on the internet as proof. then print cards for him with the text: "i'm the husband of the lady who got screwed by a designer on the internet".
or just go with the brick and window idea.
