Why is there such a dispute over this? Safari supports ICC profiles and Firefox doesn't. You should only be able to see a difference in images that have embedded ICC profiles which many dont. There should be no difference as far as css colouring goes, because unlike ICC profiled images, the colours are absolute rather than relative.

Oh and yes, thats one of the key reasons I was happy that safari is out for the PC with its generally nicer (yet in some instances, not so much) font smoothing...
