Why is there such a dispute over this? Safari supports ICC profiles and Firefox doesn't. You should only be able to see a difference in images that have embedded ICC profiles which many dont. There should be no difference as far as css colouring goes, because unlike ICC profiled images, the colours are absolute rather than relative.

(Jun 13 07, 15:52)thats why i was asking if the photo was in adobe 98.....i still find it funny how many people insist upon shooting and processing their files in adobe98 'cause "it's a wider color space" but are serving them up for the web where the profile is not respected
