I just switched to Safari from Firefox. I can now see colours again! That's weird, I had never even noticed how bad colours were in FX. So there you go.

So what you are saying is, when you use FireFox your laptop is not plugged into a Power Outlet.
But the one time you used Safari, you were directly hooked into power.

um, yeah, variances, i'd highly suggest you not wash your hands of FF though. As a developer, it's your job to find those shades that don't irritate you too much to see the difference
as an internet browser guy though, do what pleases you :D
