what is that pic on the bottom right?

Yeah those are some good suggestions.
My last big corp gig, we would have launch/wrap up meetings off site. There is a starbucks that used to be a bank that has meeting rooms. It was nice, it felt like a fieldtrip like in elementary school... and you always looked forward to fieldtrips.
And I couldn't agree more about the environment, it needs to feel comfortable, a place they are happy and can have fun... and do work of course.

LOL it's an invitation to a "flamenco dancing night" from a client.
I think I'm gonna pass because I can't find my Barry Manilow outfit.

"Is work from home really that important?"
may sound weird, but even though i work out of my home office, i honestly do not feel it is that big a deal. it is really all about the environment and work. if i find the right place that has it and want me to join, i would. easy.
i do though, have zero respect for an employer who feels that not caring for your work environment and office space as a critical element. those who have crap furniture, colors, layout, etc get crap work; it is that simple. for a place people spend more time in than their own dwelling, have some respect for them and yourself and make it appealing. the work will folllow.

i'm good now but I am greedy, i love what i do and am good at it, i'd like more money, it drives my thought processes and sensibilities when it comes to analyzing data and directing appropriate outcomes. seems the better i'm paid the better i perform. vacations, breaks, etc are not the source of my breakthroughs as much as design theories based on visitor trends.

more team type shit.
wednesday drinks afterwork with a few rounds on the boss.
more lunches with the team. we kinda all do our own thing right now. i'd like a bit more unity stuff.
for a while we had the last friday of each month be a flick friday. we'd get together and either go out to a movie or watch movies here all day. the past 3 we've all forgotten about them.
i'd like work to be more like me spending 8+ hours a day hanging out with my friends, doing great work and getting a paycheck for it, rather than work 8+ hours a day, talk to a few people here and there and not being able to remember what my co-workers wife's name is. :/

i could really go for 4x10s. work longer 4 days a week and get 3-day weekends every weekend
