ron paul is no where near evangelical. he follows the constitution and leaves religion out.
which sucks, cause that will prolly be his downfall. he stated that he wont run indie. but would be an awesome libertarian candidate

from what i am gathering, you are right Bon. I want to look into tis guy. Who is the GOP vet from Nebraska(?) thats real down on the Bush way? Starts with an N?

I never heard of him until about a month ago on a TV interview. I thought, ok here we go another one of them. Spew out your crap...
Then he strated talking, AND MAKING SENSE. Imagine that, I guess people are calling him what a "real Rupublican" used to be.

I am voting for Paul Rand.

i think the entire u.s. should write in osama bin laden for 2008.
then he'll win.
then, he'll HAVE to show up to accept the nomination.
then we can kill him.
it will be a great day in u.s. history.

the dems suck, so much for holding the seats

Exactly Bonn. Spineless

they can't do anything with Captain Dipshit in there with his pen. Impossible.

The democrats have written themselves off imho. Obama and Hillary are borderline Socialists, and as much as I would be ok with a black or femal president, I don't think my middle American colleagues will go for it.
The Republicans aren't much better what with their foreign policy and bad evironmental track record. No idea at this point who will get my vote. I may have to check into this Ron Paul guy. But I need to vote, I skipped out last time because of a lack of palatable options.

he is exactly an old school republican. which is not a bad thing really. he is the only one i know of so far that respects a country built on laws, and contstitutionally respects them as they were written to protect freedom and rights to privacy.
the freedom to fascism movie kinda clued me in to where the guy is coming from in regards to protecting the rights of us citizens

Speaking of old-school Republicans, anybody got a sturdy shovel and some smelling salts? I say it's high time to bring Reagan back.
- Mimio0
Republicans today would call Nixon a socialist. The guy wanted national healthcare which is basically shunned today by the GOP.
- Mimio0
Reagan was terrible. It's a testimony to thought virii that he's seen a good president since his death.

I am not sure even Reagan was considered a "old school Republican".
Didn't he lay the groundwork for what the party has turned into now?
- nicnichols0
Wait.. RUPAUL is running for president?
Hell I'd vote for him, err her.. whatever.
- ninjasavant0
I'm backing the Canadian for President in 2008. Want me some cheap drugs.
- nicnichols0
...he'll at least kick ass...
- mrdobolina0
Reagan was shit, he tripled the deficit, cut health and human services etc. Jhe pretty much invented homelessness in the US.
I can't vote republican, I actually give a shit about people.

Yeah, I am in the same boat Mr Dobs. Remember, Bush didnt sound so bad either when he was running in '00. We hadnt been used to his lies yet, and didnt disregard any of the steaming piles of ass plummage that is set forth every time he opens his lie hole. The GOP is all the same. The Dems are always wimps. Movin outta the cuntry. Enough is enough. At this point, its way past the politicians. Its the morons that allow these idiots to take office, the idiots who freak out when a party other than the other 2 is mentioned as being viable, the big business running the cuntry....etc....... i know you hear me.
