Just did some research finally on all this. On paper Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich make the most sense to me but damn they don't seem like lunatics in person (on video). Sen. Dodd has impressed me the most so far.

gravel would be best, but he has no chance.
while i disapprove of ron paul's white supremacist following, i'd like to see someone get in to the white house where congress would just totally erupt in disapproval and have a complete governmental shakedown. then again my opinion of politics is to "burn it all to the ground," so take that for what you will.
