I didn't really mean what I said
BUT
it contained a small kernel of truth:
portfolio sites as containers for other work. If you find a container that works simply and transparently, use it. OK, change it a little, but use what works

its more about how you have an idea or concept rather than how fast you can do it.
i personally sold my soul and the results is that its shitty stuff that i produce.

let's just agree that the site in question is ok, inspired by something else [like a majority of design, including interface design] and the work, which should be the focus, is better than the container...
If we all just subscribed to the Church of Eatock and used his opensource design, we'd eliminate all this pointless banter...
