There are 4 reasons why atheism fails:
1) What is the origin of the universe? Why is there something rather than nothing? How do you get matter and energy from nothingness? How do you get a rock out of nothing?
2) What is the origin of life? How do you get life from non-life? How do you go from a rock to a tree?
3) What is the origin of mind? How does a living thing become a self-conscious being? How do you go from a tree, to an animal, to a human?
4) What is the origin of good and evil? How does an amoral being become morally aware?

I know pleanty of atheists that are far more moral and better people than people of faith.

no Bonseff, it's just more consistent with the evidence to believe in a higher being. We see purposive design all around us, so it is logical to conclude there is a designer.

Whatever makes you a better person and helps you achieve inner peace is ones individual decision. And a personal one.
To have arguments like this is trying to argue if unicorns and lepraucans exist.
It just goes in cirles and starts to irratate and anger.
We wont know until we die, until then whatever helps you get through the day.

BonSeff, atheists positively assert that there is no God. Period. So, they are ultimately making a faith-based claim, since they cannot experimentally prove that there is no God.
My respect goes to people who are willing to follow the evidence wherever it leads and not let philosophical bias inhibit them.
