well, i didn't mean just the springs and shocks when i say aftermarket and the chassis is always important. it's one of teh reason i never modded the suspension on my Audi TT and traded it in. but yeah, if it handles well from the factory, it's always better.

right, got it.
in this case, it is the hardware mounting the rubber-band suspension to the subframe itself. the painful truth, is that the stiffer the roll bars, the harder durometer the bushings, and the more weight-matched the suspension is tuned, only brings out more of the limitations that everything is hanging from.
sucks.
but the D3 fixed all that. :)

are you talking about the S8 or a regular A8?
