Got an extended warranty, vwsung? Unless you do, if I'm not mistaken, I think you have to prove that it was a known troublemaker before and that they were hiding it from you. Which dealer was it?
Then again, I am not too familiar with NY lemon laws....

i did get the extended warranty. i read about the NY state lemon law in the manual and it said the same problem occurring 4 times within the first 90 days. but it did not say what i get for it.

a friend of mine just got one of these. i will be seeing it in a week.
agreed on the rear slits- not my thing really. but man, the torque that speaks from within.....

jox, i finally got my car back. the problem was a blown fuse for the engine management. they replaced the fuse, MAF sensor, an O2 sensor, and lambda probe after catalyst. what's the last thing?

it measures the air/fuel ratios post-cat to make sure you are not running too rich... or too lean.
funny you say fuse @ the ECU- this is a thing to look for in te C4 chassis cars as well. it is a rare thing, but would lead to the rich situation.
is the car still under warranty? cause only that, or a tech who is not well-versed in the S line would replace every single engine management piece post preasure regulator like that....

i bought the extended warranty for 4 years so i shouldn't have to pay for anything. it just sucks to bring the car to the dealer so often. in the 41 days i've had it, it's been at the dealer for 7 days. i hope this isn't the case in the future.
