Giuliani's declaration was that the Democrats are lax on security issues.
Logically, it seems pertinent to revisit the recent past to see if that is the case.
Preventing 9/11 was a failure of government to protect people. A fish rots from the head down and governments are no different.
The Democrats were in charge as the Islamist menace metastized.

It definitely takes a special person to want to attempt to run for President but at this point do you think a democrat can repair the damage that monkey boy bush has done? Seems like Giuliani would only make it worse and then later we'd find out that he had been banging Donald Trump for campaign money... Colbert for president?

It really doesn't matter 2 bits who get the job, politics is more show business then real business - think about it, you vote for the policies and influence of the companies that you pay the most money to, federal and local taxation are a relatively small part of your outgoings, 80% of the power you ammas and redistribute goes to mega corporations who are 'in power' from one administration to the next. Oil companies, healthcare companies, food and drug - these organizations have far more power over international 'policies' and american interest representation abroad than any government could ever hope to.
Whilst I want to believe that a strong, just president could really make a fundamental difference, and it's true that the country would be a better place with everyone believing in that, the truth is that money is and always will be power and until people become aware of how they can influence and be responsible for change by changing the way they spend their money, nothing will change.
eg. 70% of water quality problems in the US are down to the meat-for-food industry, 'liberal' legislation to curb this, nor taxation will change it - the only thing that makes a difference is choosing every day not to support it, not to pay people to do it. If you don't pay, they stop. It's no coincidence that Mr Washington is on the dollar bill, it's the most enduring and powerful ticket to the democracy game that you ever have and you play it every day..
