"MANCHESTER, N.H. - - Rudy Giuliani said if a Democrat is elected president in 2008, America will be at risk for another terrorist attack on the scale of Sept. 11, 2001.
But if a Republican is elected, he said, especially if it is him, terrorist attacks can be anticipated and stopped."

Jesus Christ... shouldn't being an ignorant, insane prick be one of those things that prevents you from thinking you can run for president? What a total idiot.

Well he certainly stopped that 9-11 attack as the Republican Mayor of NY...
...er..wait...
Well, I mean having a Republicn in the White House prevented 9-1...
er...no...
Ah..he's full of shit...

that hour of giuliani's life is going to make him never be president.

X warns of 'new 9/11' if Dems win.
So, is X going to be the terrorist? This argument always put me on guard like they were the one that was going to do the attack.
freaks.

i am convinced that there will never be a great presidential candidate because by definition they are all politicians and politicians are driven by money and power. Everyone keeps saying "Obama, Obama" but he is driven by power. I think what America really needs to do is rewrite its constitution and then dress up all the potential candidates in drag and have a huge press conference.
- lvl_130
you have a point alacran...but i don't really think that all politicians are driven by money.
there are a lot of people out there that really want to make a difference for the better. the problem is they don't have the money or the power to get noticed.
sad but true.
someone! quick post up a video on youtube with your cell number saying you want to make a difference. you just MAY be on good morning america!!
*sigh :\

Someone on the interwebs just pointed out that back in the day presidential debates would last hours - like one hour satatement, one and a half hour statement, a halfhour rebuttal...and we got some great guys outta that..these days, presidential ddebates ar elike one hour, and each guy gets like 3 1/2 minutes ot make some marketing point.
Ain't no greatness in that process...
Besides who in their right mind would want that job? Or, to paraphrase, who in their right mind would want oto go throught the shit you have to go through to get that job. I mean once you land it you're pretty set - interns that give you blowjobs and you can practically fuck the country for four to eight years and at least 30% of the people will still think you're god.

- Tara0
pretty fucking scary how much influence he has
- mrdobolina0
Dont worry, the fundamentalists won't vote for him, he's a cross-dressing adulterer.
- FrdmOfSpch0
pretty fucking scary that he as a shot, prolly the best shot of taking this.
The right will still vote for him despite the pro gay pro choice three wives shit.
- mrdobolina0
mark my words, we will have a democratic president next time around.
The republican candidates are fucking laughable.
Giuliani, McCain?
Every remark they make about iraq makes them more and more unelectable.
