i love that bike.
a friend of mine brought home a brand new triumph sprint wednesday. he was back and forth between the sprint and the triple, but couldn't hold off for the triple (wouldn't have been delivered until october).

Gabe, have you been to a track yet? Did you buy it new or used? I know how bitchy those valves are, just curious what you have to do to break it in properly?

lol fortified...thanks for the heads up. i'll be sure to avoid riding at 88mph for any lengthy period of time
i actually have a 749 that i use as my track bike. just casual riding and canyon stuff with the 999s. too afraid to wreck it riding that aggressively. not to mention it's too much bike at the track for me!
bought it uses with about 3k miles on it. bought the 749 new though and break in was pretty typical. motors on the xx9 bikes are actually much more reliable than previous years
