that new Norton Commando 961 SS is so bloody sweet:
http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com…It sort of reminds me of the Mike Hailwood limited production bike Duc made years ago:
http://www.ducati.com/bikes/my20…also, check out the crazy mad-max shit my friend's brother fabricated from a Duc supersport 998:
all it needs is some side mount machine guns and some lazer guided missiles attached to the handle bars.

With this new found daylight, I took a ride through Topanga canyon last night after work down to Malibu, then from there took PCH all the way back to my house in Long Beach.
Holy shit, I haven't had so much fun riding in a long time.
Any other LA heads ride, and have been through Topanga Canyon? So damn fun. Lets ride fools!

Good choice Jevad. I rode a 620 Dark not too long ago and it had Remus pipes on it which sounded awesome. And of course your Termignoni pipes sound amazing too.
Have fun with that bike. Oh and depending on the price of the bike, you might check out the maintenance costs of the 620 versus a new 695, since supposedly Ducati upped the amount of miles between valve adjustments and such.

Gabe FTW!!
fuck yeah!
Not got it yet - sorted out financing and such - I need to move first and get settled then sort the bike out.
Been doing some reading up on the 620 too and looking around for decent second handers...

thanks kona!!
lol jevad, good luck on your hunt man! i've seen a few 620s pop up on craigslist now and again. i got my 695 new from spectrum motorsports out in irvine, but they have a pretty sweet collection of used bikes there as well.
let me know when you finally get her and we'll hit the canyons sometime!

i have a monster 750, and it's an amazing ride. i was thinking of a 620 back when i got it, and a friend talked me into the 750, saying that the enjine was built for that range, and that a 620 was a waste (don't exactly remember the specifics, but it was something like that). in any case, you might grow out of the 620 relatively quickly, so think about the others.
on a side note, i'm planning a trip to switzerland next year for the euro cup. i'm thinking about flying into italy, picking up a new ducati, riding around europe, and having it shipped home afterwards. has anyone here done anything similar?

those triumphs sure are sweet bikes, that's for sure. the seat height on those things are pretty high though!

jevad, you might want to contact a local club for second hand stuff. i know that the club i belong to has a steady stream of off-road vehicles for sale which go up on the club boards before they go public.
