I hope I can start to like Jack now. He's still annoying but seems to be getting better. At the same time, I don't think Jack and Kate should get together. Just leave Kate alone. Not everyone has to get together on the island. There's already the gross couple of Charlie and Claire.

I read an article in the paper today that basically said the writers know the majority of viewers are more interested in sexual storylines than they are about who Alvar Hanso is.
F that. If I wanted that I'd watch everything else on TV.
I like Lost for the mystery, they do need to pick it up a bit, but following sex/love storylines between Losties is dumb.

I know what you mean, mg. I absolutely LOVE character development because that's the way you connect and relate yourself with the various people on the show, but at the same time having everyone involved with each other is weird and annoying. It turns into a soap opera, such as Grey's Anatomy (where everyone is involv ed with everyone else,was involved in the past, or will be in the future).
Although, come to think of it, I guess if we were on an island it'd be the same way because of the desperate and "lost" feeling. Even though no group trapped on an island is as good-looking as everyone on Lost.

Yeah, Jack's kind of turned into that guy you know. The one who overall is a nice guy and everything. But, sometimes you just think to yourself and maybe secretly share with your friends, "You know what? Jack can be a real dick sometimes. Just kind of an arrogant dick."
Besides, Kate's sealed the deal with Sawyer, so the hell with him. ;)

Good episode? No. A good episode will be when some questions are answered. That one still didn't answer any. It even tricked you into thinking it was going to provide answers when Tom started to talk about the purple sky but then Jack cut the artery by accident and then they had to stop that conversation. Damn them, it's the most frustrating TV experience ever.

But I think that the creators will make Jack and Kate have more screentime together later on, if Jack ever gets off the island or if Kate ever comes back for him (even though he said not to). Also, Kate and Sawyer have been together for some time now and it's hard to say if she slept with him because she thought they were going to die, or if she really wanted to go there. I still like them though.
And I agree about Jack too. It seems that everyone has a chance to redeem themselves on the island though, so we'll see. Jack is a little too boring for me, but he does fit well with some people, such as Juliet (who, in the flashbacks, seemed terribly boring).
