You're right. Jack and Juliette could be very happy be boring together somewhere.
Oh well, I dont care much about Jack anymore. Sawyer is just so much more interesting. He is the swashbuckler, and the Han Solo of the show. Lol.

I think the show is evolving for the worse into too much forced seriousness. The aspect of mystery worked better when we knew less, and now we need to know more to keep any interest in it.
I'll still keep watching but I hope something good happens soon. But I figure this season will be all about the Losties trying to get to that little island to find Jack, and Jack growing further and further away from them.
Many of my friends and myself all have the feeling that in the end, the final of the show will be a major letdown. The kind where you just go "No shit, I had this figured out since day 1."
I don't think it will have any big revelation at all.

the previous 2 seasons I watched on DVD so it seemed to flow much faster
this is the first season Iam watching in real time and it
feels like its at standstill

I sooo agree. Wasn't so hip to the Jack/Julliette thing, but the Desmond was fun! Reminded me of "The Prisoner" and shows like that. :)
My favoite part was Hurley saying "Dude, he'll already know your plan before you do."
