I know what you mean, mg. I absolutely LOVE character development because that's the way you connect and relate yourself with the various people on the show, but at the same time having everyone involved with each other is weird and annoying. It turns into a soap opera, such as Grey's Anatomy (where everyone is involv ed with everyone else,was involved in the past, or will be in the future).
Although, come to think of it, I guess if we were on an island it'd be the same way because of the desperate and "lost" feeling. Even though no group trapped on an island is as good-looking as everyone on Lost.
