I'm in the burbs of Chicago and I was up at 5am out in the cold trying to get my wifes car to start.

Yesh, it's cold, heh.
I never check like the weather really because so many people let me know at work that there really is no point.
Plus, I can't change the weather.
So really what's the point of knowing?

I guess the short sleeve shirt and no coat thing could have been avoided this morning.
Parking in a parking garage has its perks at home, but not when you arrive at work and have to leave walk to the door, heh.

Yea, I don't know how much longer I'm going to be up here. A slew of my friends down in Tampa called me to inform me they were going swimming, just to rub it in.

Yea, normally I'd be getting ready to head to Miami Beach about now for my spring training for rowing but...since graduating and all that...it's no longer an option until I accrue more personal days off.

I couldn't feel anything but my feet this morning, ironically. Brutal.
And no, no one really gets used to it. But I guess we do to some extent since I wasn't wearing anything other than what I usually wear, except for a scarf (since I hate wearing them usually).

wow guys i'm sorry. not to rub it in, but i guess maybe to rub it in just a little (though i try not to take it for granted).... :)
this weekend was 70 F here. i took my beach cruiser on a nice 4 mile ride around the bay to the skatepark and back. it was beautiful and awesome to be wearing on a t-shirt.
i don't know what i would do in chicago or the east coast right now. probably just die because i don't know how to dress for the cold.
