How about we go to some churches and start putting up signs telling them all about how they are evolved from primates over a course of a few million years, and we throw up some fossils and leave some copies of Darwin's Origin of the Species lying around on their property so their home-schooled children can pick it up and start reading it.
Or make it mandatory by law that their preachers have to mention from the pulpit about evolution and the Big Bang theory.

my personal opinion, having studied that stuff for, 5 or 6 years in college, is that both sides have it wrong.
it's not that ancient and it's not that young.
they're using the 'Potassium-Argon' method to date the minerals in that lower igneous formation. There is shitloads of K+ in granitoids. Well in most igneous (vulcan) rock. Everything else has to be younger unless the entire bed was flipped on it's ass. Which happens, but not there.
