That is really the majority of the type of spam I get lately.

Apparently the stock spam stuff works... I think it was in the NY Times that I read an article saying that enough people invest to boost junk stocks by about 5-10%. The spammers then sell it off and it drops again. They come off with a tidy profit on random obscure company stocks.
Any yes, passing your email through Gmail seems to work pretty well. Even they were letting through way more spam than usual the last couple months, but it's gotten better again.

I get a nice blend of stock w/ really well laid out GIFs and plenty of c!a|i5 and v!@gR6 ones too.
What's so stupid about them all lis there is absolutely no benefit to some SPAM'r. There's no links, no nothing, its just gibberish and design inspiration of the highest order.

I thought it was just me.

set up your account on your host to forward all mail to that address to a new address (your gmail addy)
then on gmail, you can make outgoing messages appear to be from a diff. address (your domain addy)

What's the deal about disabling an email address for 48 hours, and this will make the spam bounce back and state that the email doesn't exist, but any pending mail you should be getting will still send to you?
