I HATE IT WHEN people say this...:(
Marriage isn't something you enter lightly... but it's also a WONDERFUL thing if you both are sincere and willing put aside some of your self for the other person...
... alas - that's the rub... humans are selfish. :(
I've never been married - my brother just divorced his wife, my father dumped my mom (and she's on her third husband now)...
... so, I suppose the 'odds' are stacked against my point that being married can truly be wonderful...

Jaline - in response to your 'celeb comment'... that is why I ripped on celebs in that thread over the weekend... about 'looking up to them' etc...
... they're fucking humans... and they're fucking TRAIN-WRECKS of 'the human example'...
... which is why I shit all over any thread or conversation that tries to make a celeb/writer/politician/what-hav... a 'living god' or even 'someone to look up to'...
... they don't deserve the attention and most of time their example is pretty 'shitty' to young minds that are easily influenced (let's face it, the tabloids/media rarely report on a celeb when they're acting... 'normal').

At 4:30am this morning... I was still up working...
... there's this lil joint not even a mile a way that opens at 4am w/fresh donuts etc...
... so I scored the first cup of Hot Choco this am...
... so awesome... it was about 40 degrees out... super quiet etc...
... nothing but me, my dog and hot chocolate!!!
I'm only sharing this... because it killed 'the dead inside' for a few moments. :)
