Im feeling dejavu in this thread.
I didnt want to fight, just thought it was interesting that some "church leaders" would try to de-emphasize a fossil exhibit.

exador: What science journals do you frequently read?
And what science journals would you expect to find HISTORICAL evidence in? You may want to start looking into the various codexes and the septuagint. Then maybe the works of historian Josephus.
One certainly could argue that thousands of people were changing themselves, after all it is a subjective evidence. It is part of a bevy of evidence, however. It merely reinforces the case.
I don't believe in any irrational "hocus pocus". I have a reasonable faith which is supported by incontrovertible evidence.

mrdobolina: what is your interpretation of the hominid evidence cited in the article you originally posted? Surely you have an educated position on this.

incontrovertible evidence.
flagellum
(Dec 5 06, 10:01)Is exactly the freaking problem. Science produces no such thing, and Faith which seeks it out isn't Faith but hubris and plain old Human arrogance.
ID is the worst of both worlds.

nah, sorry i am uneducated. I should know my place.

theBlueOne: We are talking about two different things. What in the world does the evidence for Christ's resurrection have to do with Intelligent Design?
- morilla0
flagellum, what happened to you in you childhood?
- flagellum0
Why do you ask, morilla?
I had a fantastic childhood growing up in a non-religious family. I was a very happy kid.
- morilla0
so you think
- mrdobolina0
then you said that you were "born again", what was the reason for the rebirth?
generally something happens, right?
Just curious and if you dont want to say I understand that too.

Never mind...I'm out. I seek spiritual enlightenment, and you and your christian brethren here operate on the level of a six year old, spiritually speaking. It's amusing until it's boring. And the amuse-o-meter just ran out. Peace and all that...

Kenya has been using that Gorge and The Leakeys as a tourist attraction for nearly 100 years.
Hypocrites on both sides.

mrdobolina: I placed my faith in Jesus, when I was 18. The reason for this is because I believed what the Bible said about Jesus and everyone's need for him. It was an exciting time in my life when God was really drawing me to himself thru a few different avenues.

so you think

(Dec 5 06, 10:14)How did you arrive at this axiomatic notion?
- mrdobolina0
I may disagree with your views on basically everything, but whatever does it for you is cool.
I just dont like creeps that wanted prayers in school in the 80's and now are the same ones that want ID taught.
Now dont say i dont understand ID because I attach it to creationism. You must admit that there are people out there that want this taught because of religious reasons.
you may not agree with that either, but to question someones knowledge of the science is bad form when there is a significant number of people who want it taught because iot validates the christian god.

what science journals do i frequently read?
well now that you mention it, my brother in law is a professor, and i tend to check out the mags he leaves lying around..
generally physics journals, plus some forestry ones (natural sciences guy)
but thats neither here nor there..
