Nah, I gave up imaginary friends as a toddler.
Now I spend my time making imaginary internet friends and making vein attempts at intimidating Christians. Mom would be proud.

mrdobolina: what is your interpretation of the hominid evidence cited in the article you originally posted? Surely you have an educated position on this.

and try not to use links in your response.
or crass expressions.

- flagellum0
I said "trying in vain".
That part is key. ;)

The church is trying to squelch the display of these fossils.
What did I get wrong?
- mrdobolina0
So the church in kenya is intimidating the scientist then?

As a kid, attending Pentecostal churches, we once had a travelling missionary that met the Leakey family. Not sure if the old man was still alive or not. I think he died in 1972.
I'm not buy this though, I can tell you that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laeā¦

You know, I've decided to lay off the ID thing. Go ahead, teach it wherever you want. I figure the sooner you get that program up and running the sooner we can fast track you guys and your descendents into the low end economy to replace all the Mexicans you're political fellows want to send out of the country. All you ID people and your kids can get the jobs at the Dunkin DOnuts and 7-11's and the rest of us will you know actually get an education and be able to help America compete with the Indians and the Chinese. It's all evolution really...you're like choosing to devolve, so why should I stand in the way you know. Heck I'll buy you're little ones Bibles and Creationist Dinbosaur/Caveman playsets if it'll help...

six million kenyans?

Need to reread your article before responding?

"Unfortunately for you, the evidence which supports his bodily resurrection is overwhelming."
wow.
really?..
imagine that, overwhelming evidence to support it, and i've never come across it in any science journals...or well...any kind of journal at all.as for thousands of lives being changed everyday...
can't argue with you on that at all...
that is absolutely true.one could perhaps argue that thousands of people were changing their own lives...
;)
peace dude.
m'not raggin on ya....
i just don't happen to be a believer...i think the world is wonderful enough without having to add any hocus pocus to the story....however, if you dig that sort of thing, all the power to ya...
personally i don't get it...
but if you do, i think thats cool.

You're not going to change the mind of the Kenyan Church.
That's like telling Africans to wear condoms to combat HIV.
Ain't gonna happen.
- mrdobolina0
so are they "leaders" or not?
- flagellum0
TheBlueOne: you might want to find out what ID actually is before being too adamant about that.

Whatever. Go ahead teach it wherever..wheat from the chaff and all that...good luck and all..

mrdobolina: the article says it is "powerful evangelical church leaders". And they are wrong in what they are trying to do. They should be trying to understand what the evidence does and does not show. It's silly.
