They were Campus Security it seems like form the article..which makes them more than rent-a-cops, but still not real cops...the tazzer was too easy...bad police training..

look, if he was disobeying policy by not showing his ID and then becoming unruly about it, then he probably deserved to be removed. But tazing someone for being stubborn is just ridiculous.
All I know so far is what I saw on the video and that's the cops acting like they were training a pit bull with a shock collar, so fuck em.

joyride, the parents are getting more of the blame now. so much so that they are complaining about getting the blame themselves. but yeah, parents definitely should know everything about their kid or at least attempt to. there should be a balance between being their friend and being their parent, with the latter being more emphasized.
Point5, I see your point about how they shouldn't have tazered him. And they probably shouldn't have, but I'm interested in knowing what kind of person he was before and what exactly happened in that situation. I don't know, I just wouldn't talk back to a cop that way and I would definitely just leave the area and not egg everything on.

I don't know, a tazzing is a bit far, but the threat of getting tazered should make most people do what they are asked to do. They didn't ask him anything out of the question. I'm sure it escalated higher then it needed to go, with both parties trying to prove whatever. But it's a cop, right or wrong they will usually win the 1st battle so why fuck with it. Sad part is he'll probably get some money... I think that's total BS

Everyone misses the beginning part off from thier version of events, the jumped up little prick was telling the cops to get thier hands off him, how the hell are you supposed to handle that as a policeman/woman, if I were them I would have smacked the teeth from his mouth and told him I would have ripped his fucking jaw off if he uttered one more mother fucking word.

i think the kid being tazored is a brat that could use an ass kicking... but not by those campus cops.
i think those campus cops defintely could have handled that situation much fucking better.
i think the word "tazor" is almost as lame as that brat.
