The police aren't excused for what they did, but I believe the student was definitely trying to get more attention from other students to make it seem like he was completely a victim, judging by that video. Maybe there was some racial profiling, but probably not. I wonder what race the people attacked by police the two previous times were...

Nothing like good old fashioned police brutality. That kid was racially profiled and was sick of it. How can you blame him for non-violently protesting injustice - not funny at all. These police deserve to be fired at the very least and hopefully prosecuted into poverty.
