Was thinking about this on the way home, those cops were marks for tazering an unarmed dude.

Forget letting that fucker have his moment, put him in an excruciatingly painful armlock, and walk his shrieking ass face-first into a few walls before getting him back to the station. I hate people that scream like bi***es.
That being said, i've seen way too many youtube-type clips with american cops using tazers on people, and not as a last resort.

i gave up after 100 posts so if this is mentioned in the other 85 posts then ignore me. but here is an article from the UCLA student newspaper and clearly the student didn't deserve to be tazed like that:

"Tabatabainejad was walking with his backpack toward the door when he was approached by two UCPD officers, one of whom grabbed the student's arm. In response, Tabatabainejad yelled at the officers to "get off me." Following this demand, Tabatabainejad was stunned with a Taser. "

"But according to a study published in the Lancet Medical Journal in 2001, a charge of three to five seconds can result in immobilization for five to 15 minutes, which would mean that Tabatabainejad could have been physically unable to stand when the officers demanded that he do so."

yeah we covered that...i saw video of cops doing tazer training they can all be called 'whiny little bitches' now....and then they tell him to stand up or they'll tazer him again. makes total policing sense

I don't get it - he didn't show his library card, then went to leave... so the cops tasered him to the floor.
Seems pretty messed up to me... even more so that here he's seen as a "whinny little prick."
Who wouldn't put up a fuss if a friggen cop tasered you for no good reason?

yeah, i did. it was difficult to watch. clearly the poor guy was in a lot of pain and i also heard him yell that he was not fighting them and he was going to leave. but how can he stand up when he is being tazed?
i watched the video before reading the article and i couldnt understand why he was being tazed. i thought maybe the kid did something to provoke such a harsh treatment but after reading the article, it didnt change my opinion much. the tazing were uncalled for.

ok, so i'm back after 100 or so posts. my dad served with some cops who were cool and the gang, and some who were just fuckin' awful. here's the deal: if you're comfortable with the size of your dick before you join the force, then you'll probably be a cool cop. if you join because you're challenged in that area, then you'll end up in the asshole's hall of fame. Thoughts?
