They chose the wrong day to hang him. It's Eid in Iraq today. Thats a big religious holiday. Way to kill the fun. His daughter also said she's going to bury him in Yemen. When America gets out of Iraq then she'll bring him back. LOL that made me laugh.

Just woke up and this was on my mind..they kinda rushed this whole thing, no? I mean Saddam is being hanged for his role in some rinky dink massacre here..he had YET to stand trial for his gassing of the Kurds.

Is this perhaps because the information would come out publicly during a high profile trial whose hands in the current Bush administration were dirty getting him those weapons? And whose hands in American politics had a role in propping this dude up for so long?
