yes, again, lets not focus too much on this photo either, I think the dividing line can be used to show a contrast so maybe meshing two images, one on top of a sad portrait maybe b&w then below the line it's vespas face screaming like in that photo on their webpage?

then the system is 'gimme' on top referring to needing help, in a bad place, etc and then 'shelter' is below and showing the positive, 'after' effects, which can be more party driven, engaging, etc...

guys, concerning the identity and design stuff, I figure we'll need a panel of people to handle it. There's so many creative-type people here I dare say that there'll be many a comment and it'd be impossible to satisfy us all. What do you think?

while we're all here, by the by, i wanted to talk about t-shirts. honest, you and soda are the ones who have written back on that score, but the big question seems to be quantity. also, we might have to pony up a bit of cash to get them done, but then we can sell them on, both at the gig and via various individual paypal accounts and the pvn.

hey! i want in on the design panel
i fink you should go for a bespoke serif font for the logo, summat from House industries or sumfink, totally glam it up and also, as for the flyer, have like a full on S&M scene with a guy in leathers riding a woman made out like a pony. I'm serious.

i've explained to you my reasoning on this already, moth. if we can get kuz to pay a tenner in, then it's easy peasy to guarantee that everyone else will have to pay a tenner in.

Just gone through a whole bunch of drunken ramblings to get to the good stuff at this end of the thread.
Nice work mr snuggs! I have a couple of comments:
I like the simplicity of the diagonal as shelter but if we're going to target those outside NT I fear it may not be obvious enough, maybe I underestimate the general public though.
Also we have to be careful about using american typewriter or any typewriter face as the UK charity Shelter, used to use a similar font for their logo:
we don't want to be wrongly associated with them even though they now have a new identity:
