nope...go see it, it's not too bad whatever anyone says, it's just that the ending spoils it a bit.

yeah, what photoshop picture? i don't remember it. Personally, i thought it was a top film, bit dissapointing with the lift scene near the end and how Damon explains how 3 people are dead!
but i liked it

I liked the ending. Live by the sword die by the sword. The elevator scene left me unsettled with it's abrupt ending which I think is a good thing. It would've been worse if DiCaprio had come out as the hero and ended up getting the chick how freakin' lame would that have been? Also, I was a bit disappointed with Nicholson he was supposed to be an irish gang leader and he just played himself, didn't even bother with the accent. Baldwin was great comedy relief.

Was Damon's bird...the psychologist...she brought it to his house when she was moving in, they'd basically stuck a photo of her head (aged 20) onto a little girl and passed it off as being her when she was young...

yep, just remembered it now! It was really bad wasn't it!! no one really laughed in my cinema. must have been the boring one!

After seeing it my wife said, "So was Wahlberg's character a bad guy too? On the mob payroll?"
Which made me stop and think about it all over again. I don't think so, but a good question...opens up a whole nother set of questions...

Jevad Im in the same boat, Im still tryin to figure out how someone with his background and experience could do that to me at the end of a movie, just imagine if Braveheart had an awful ending,m would people still be all about it? I dont think so at all.

I saw it this weekend too...its easier to state those who weren't corrupt...
Martin Sheen
LeoWalhberg was corrupt because his actions of shooting Damon prove so. A 'good' cop takes him down and arrest him. Also, with the brown envelope/package Leo gave to the woman, i think that is now erelevant as Damon was killed. It could've only told the story of Damon and not the rest of Nickelson's henchmen.
i could be wrong of course.
- sedg000
Walhberg was definitely NOT corrupt! Seriously, there is nothing that points to that in the entire film, apart from the fact that he shot damon at the end. But lets be honest, why would he cover up his mess so much if he was corrupt, you never saw any of the other corrupt characters cover their tracks in anyway...maybe i am wrong though!
- jondj240
why would a legit cop shot unarmed man? why not take him to jail?
- jondj240
the same reason why damon shot the other admittedly corrupt cop near the elevator is the reason why Walhberg shot damon.

personally i just don't think so to be honest, if he was in on it all he would have let nicholson know that leo was the rat. it just ruins the whole story if that's the case. plus i liked wahlberg in the film, i can't cope if he's a baddy!!

Unless Nicholson knew Leo was the rat and was using him to test Damon's worth to his orginization?
- sedg000
now you are just mad!!
i like that thought though...because he really did seem fairly certain he knew he was the rat when he was talking to him in the restaurant...interesting!

christ people. this isn't usual fucking suspects.
- TheBlueOne0
I mean Leo would be the completely obvious rat...and Jack's character was no fool..
Dammit..now I have to watch it again with all these implications in mind...
