There are some really good shows on HBO and Showtime you are missing. "Prison Break" is good but has gone a bit down compared to season 1, when it was fresh. Same with "House". I still watch them. Just not as good as they used to be.

Who can get excited anymore about a show where there is no risk, since almost everyone can come back to life one way or another and when the writers fuck up too bad, they simple rely on some time traveling to correct it.... or fuck it up worse.

i feel the same way. they're introducing too many characters and the story is getting too wide these days, like im not quite sure what the *point* is anymore... Once they 'saved the world' once, it seems kinda cheap that it's just gonna get fucked up again and they'll have to save it again.
Season one was deadly, but yeah it's getting kinda watery.
For the dude that said prison break and fringe... OMG. Perhaps amateur live theater is more your thing if you're into the worst acting ever.

damn show broke my heart. How can you have a time-travelling samurai in your show for christsakes and somehow make him uncool? That's nearly impossible...I mean...oh geez....it sucks now...

I liked this last episode a lot.
The image of Elle in the cell alone was pretty dark, and that whole portion was pretty excellent.
I think the problem with this season is that they were trying to re-establish a plot v. character development, since the characters have been developed already. I'm not sure how many more episodes there are, but things are looking up for this series, and if they end strong it will gain buzz again, and hopefully they can get on track.

That wasn't Elle, it was some new character with the same powers played by the same actress. They've retconned her.
