I'm almost 29, I started skating when I was 10. I've been slacking a bit for the past couple years (too much boozing!). But now I work about 2 blocks from a skatepark so I go down every lunch break, also me and the old crew are starting to get out every Sunday. You don't even have to be good just roll around and drink a beer!
PS: Fuck that Youtube crash, I don't ever want to see that again...Ever Ever Ever Ever.

Started at 15 and never looked back. I skated hard all through junior high into high. As soon as college started my skating took a back seat to my studies and partying. My skating has since dwindled and I've picked up snowboarding along the way. I still get the itch every now and then, and skate with a bunch of little kids that see me as "that old dude that skates". Can't seem to find anyone to skate with in my old age. If any fogies out there in NYC area want to cruise the streets at night or hit up the Deutshe Bank... ah the good 'ol days.

Check out these boards for dam fine ones to start out on. Either get a short longboard on the left of the selection, these are massively convex and springy so will ride over anything and can go fucking fast. Or if you want to ride the true skool short boards go for a fat old skool shaped on to the right of the selection.
Go forth and conquer!!

Ha, ha after a particularly trekked out and shitty day on the slopes we returned to town and each nailed a bottle of tequila in a drinking game. My mate Stu-pid fell off a roof and broke his arse and had to get a hip / arse cast oh my god it was the funniest shit... there wasn't much of a que to sign it though..
