i was down at the weekend seeing my wee bro who moved down there a few months ago and is loving it.
he stays near bayswater and his gf lives there. i stayed there in a hotel.the london i'd known to date was the hustle and bustle of oxford street and covent garden etc so i was pleasantly surprised by the chilledness of bayswater and nottinghill area - very impressed (very pricey though, i know) had a wicked weekend down there and i must admit when i logged onto NT today and saw the NWYH advert in the NTB i was kinda tempted by it.
But realistically though i love edinburgh and its whole vibe. and i think im pretty much here for good unless i win the lottery or get offered a job with a silly salary elsewhere.

yeah could be bullshit, dunno who they did the sample on.., it's from design week this year.
doesnt seem particularly wrong from my point of view.

if its from design week then its probably spot on for london area anyways.
sometimes when london based magazines print salary details from the rest of the UK or scotland its not too accurate.
id say that the scottish salaries on it are more in tune with what you'd expect to get paid in Edinburgh or Glasgow and not at a design company in the likes of Dundee or Aberdeen as the cost of living in those cities is less.
