in my experience there are more jobs kicking about for a good developer, so they tend command more cahs, but my experience may be limited...

I do both, and there is more work for developers I think.

the most well paid people here are Actionscript developers. For a really top one you can ask for about 90k.

and I believe i'm pretty good at both...
but I'll be looking for a new job soon, & I wonder if people will think that I'm not 'focused' and that I need to speciallize in one area only

Do get the big bucks you have to specialise. Senior Flash designer, about 40k, senior Flash developer 60k.

we pay between 200 and 250 per day for designers and about the same for developers.

London is great for artists/designers whatevers. You can make great wage as a freelancer too, just hit up a few agencies. So long as you have a couple of years experience and know your shit, this is the place to be.

London's ace and I love it, but getting to Old Street on the northern line today from stockwell was very VERY horrible. I don't think I've been as physically close to girls I've shagged as I was to people on that train.
