the divide got a dusting this weekend too!

It sure did - nothing like that though! More in the forecast for later this week in CO....
It begins.
Climate prediction is forcasting a weak El Nino winter. Usually means more in the Southern Mountains and less in the Northern...but generally more snowfall.
hot.

It's all melted now...
http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com…Whistler always gets a dusting in mid Sept.... locals get stoked, then it rains to the top until mid-late Oct. and everyone gets depressed.
This is going to be sick this year...

i have said it before and will continue to, Whistler/Blackcomb is the most sick resprt i have ever ridden. period. it honestly makes CO look like a work out jib park.
no offense to those present, but if you haven't gotten up and ridden there, you best to see what big mountains are like...

how much bigger is whistler compare to vail?
- jevad0
Vail's vertical rise is about 3300 ft while it has about 5000 skiable acres > largest ski resort in the US.
Whistler/Blackcomb has a vertical rise of 5200 feet approximately on either mountain. Total skiable acreage is over 7000.

Speaking of snow...even though I'm not quite ready...still some biking to get out of the system.
We did get 6" this past Saturday at Snowbird: http://www.snowbird.com/ski_boar…
