There's a new exhibition in Frankfurt called "The Art of Banksy", but it's unauthorized and they are only showing replicas of his work.
It's a weird concept. Not done by a museum, but as a "pop up event" in a former Esprit clothing store.

- They have a "100% unauthorized" Bansky exhibition (tourist attraction) here in Prague as well. I feel fine about it.palimpsest
- He's managed to make himself be part of the artworld and the conversation around it. While maintaining his work accessible to those outside of it.palimpsest
- He's the André Rieu of the artworld. So all these exhibitions just add to the brand.
Everybody wins.palimpsest - They had the very same exhibition here in Munich last year at a club attached to the Deutsches Museum.
