So, if not germany... the next best option was Palestine... right? A land, whos people had NOTHING to do with WW2...
- PonyBoy0
i'm not attacking you either... although I am calling you an 'idiot and a dolt' because they're fitting descriptions of your knowledge of history and understanding of 'what was available at the time'... and 'who was in charge' etc...
... you sound like you hate America because they back Israel... and yet Israel is a country you shouldn't be angry with either... yes - they're in the land of Palestine - BECAUSE the U.N. (a bunch of countries) gave it to them.... and I'm confused about that one myself :)....
... but it's the way it is - and they're just sitting ducks over there now...
...hezbollah is nothing but a bunch of uneducated mind-washed twits listening to the commands of the few in charge... strictly trusting them ON FAITH... and they'll die to prove their faith...
... you really can't battle with that. This is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets any 'better'.

(Jul 30 06, 12:48)... I agree with you there. :) (see my last post)...
... but it's the way it is... don't fight that...
... and... AND... it's not like they own the whole fucking middle east......it's the 'holy land' aspect that's fucked - and NO... Israel DOESN'T have a right to it...
... that is fuxored... i don't know what to do about that either...
- 3RR0R_4040
Desperate people do desperate thing...
Hezbullah is one of them... they will fire their shitty rockets (which are at no comparison of what US is providing Israel with)... its like little kids throwing stones at a tank...
Oh and one thing im confused with... Israel has been fired at from the south of Lebanon... but Israel is air-raiding and throwing bombs on the WHOLE country.. why is that..
i guess Hezbullah is everywhere eh... hmm
and what about bombing those dams in lebonan.. i guess Hezbullah was trying to make up some water-bomb there...

haha, no problem...
- PonyBoy0
dude...i've seen this vid... and the documentary she's talking about...
... the one place where I get hung up... YET AGREE WITH HER...
... "the first step to World Peace is getting people to talk to each other..."
and that's the problem - that called 'diplomacy'.
... and it's showed over the last 40+ years that the angry militant muslim side of things doesn't ... want... to... talk. They have made promises over and over again - after having been given land etc etc... (diplomatic proceedings)...
... they come back and attack and blow up shit again... strictly because they WANT ISRAEL GONE.
you can't 'talk' w/those of Faith who are on a mission. :)
It's like telling a car salesmen you're just looking... you think he's just going to go away? Nah... he's going no-where... and he's got his eye on you and what you're looking at... just waiting. :)

"In Israel's actions today we can detect many of the elements of hubris: an imperial arrogance, a distortion of reality, an awareness of its military superiority, the self-righteousness with which it wrecks the social infrastructure of weaker states, and a belief in its racial superiority."....
argh... c'mon man - that's exceptionally racist and bigoted commentary...
strictly opinion - why didn't the writer of the article just drop every 'jew stereotype' he could in the first couple of sentences? :)
- 3RR0R_4040
well he did, "deal with it".. like the palestinians are dealing with the jews for 60 yrs.. coz of UN..
:P
- PonyBoy0
"coz of UN.."
G.D. U.N.!!!!!
was it the movie 'Toys' where the General is playing a video game and he blows up a U.N. vehicle and loses points...
... then says "God Damn U.N... always getting in the way"...
... then he proceeds to fire at nothing but the U.N. tanks etc... :)

3rror:
a bit of history:
Jews were living in the area now called Israel for the last 3,500 years in succession. many of them (but not all of them) where exiled.
After almost 2,000 years of persecution in Europe, Jews started returning and buying lands from arabs in the late 1800's, that area was not a country named Palestine, it was part of the ottoman empire. some 260,000 arabs lived in the area. They also claimed a lot of swamp land, by drying it up (many of them lost to malaria)..
Until 1917 (when the Brits occupied the are and started their devide and rule policy which is also responsible for the India Pakistan conflict) there was a good relationship between the Jew and Arabs living in that area.
During WW2 Jews that escaped from Europe were refused by every country (Sweden being the exeption, accepting the Jews saved by the Danes), including the US. Canadians even sent ships back to Germany. The British wouldn't let them go to Israel/Palestine and prisoned the refugees (the ones they didn't kill during the arrest) in Cyprus. Some managed to come illegally.
In 1947, when the British mandate was coming to an end—the UN decided to divide the country between the Jews and the lands that they owned and the Arabs and their land. The arabs did not Accept this resolution and seven arab states and the palestinians attacked Israel. During that attack they occupied the Jewish quarter of Jerusalem (which they held for 19 years). However, they lost the conflict and as a result 600,000 Arabs either escaped or were chased out (BTW, they did the same, where they could). Arab states deported and confiscated the possessions of 700,000 Jews, some of which have been living there for 2,000 years. Instead of founding a nation after the war, the palestinian territories stayed under Jordanian and Egyptian rule.
Israel suffered terror attacks since the mid 50s, that's way before the occupation.
In 1967, Nasser, Egypt's president threatened to eliminate Israel and started mobilizing forces. Israel counter attacked and was attacked by Jordan and Syria as well. Israel crushed their armies in 6 days occupying the Palestinian territories, Sinai (which was returned to the Egyptians in 1981 after a peace agreement) and the Golan Heights.
Israel agreed to give the Palestinians the territories, however, extremists on both sides jeopardized this several times. I hope it will happen in our lifetime.
3/4 of European Jews were murdered in WW2, we have no plan to move to Germany—you can, if you want to. I hear the Bratwurst is nice.

thanks for the time you put into that laurus...
...i get emotional and silly with it... but you just released so much info on the true history of the last 60+ years... especially the part about Israel being a U.N. created country after WWdos... it's stunning as to how many people think Isreal just walked in and took that land...
... and fail to remember that it was the world's precious U.N. that not only took that land to make it Israel's... they arrogantly did it w/out thinking about the other folks who were actually populating the land before it was given to the 'barely left-over Jews' of the time...
... oh... and speaking of humanity... do people realize the super LOW number of Jews that moved to the U.N. sanctioned "Israel"?... it was in the low thousands if I'm not mistaken...
... where's the worlds 'humanity' now?... given the fact that the jews are just protecting the little bit of land they where given when they WERE NEARLY WHIPED OUT only 60+ years ago?
... dead on look at facts, laurus...
... stay safe, man!!.. and thank you for looking out for all those folks you've taken in. :)

Well, I only did it because it is so often wrongly described as an argument.
But the history is not the issue. It's not about historical justice. Either side can point to history and find arguments. Both sides are right as they are wrong.
Due to this historic argument—my grandfather served in 2 wars, my father served in 5 wars and I served in one conflict.
My son is now at the age that I was when I first heard air raid sirens. I don't want him to have to fight again when he's older.
Both sides have to give up on historical justice and religious prophesies. There is enough room for everybody to live side by side.
