I am wright there with you mate. I fucking hate working in the design field. It not so mush designing I hate but the hole industry that go's with what we do for a living that fucks me off. But the most part I hate about this fucking shit industry is the pay or lack of it.
I just hate it now, and I am getting out.

Fucking cunting bastarding network cockhats just remote activated an upgrade to our network security prompting every machine in the studio to give us 30 seconds to save our work before it shut down our machines.
I managed to save about half of it. Some poeple weren't even in the room.
I fucking hate my job....

And whats with asking Graphic designer to be a fucking programer for the web. We have to do 2 job for harth the price, and then you have the, Programer next to you doing a job and getting a shit load more money then you are. WTF.
But my reel pet hate with this industry is the fucking CUNTS out there asking people to work for no money for the privilege of being a "Graphic Designer" when they first start there career, that just sad.
My advise is to ball-shit you way into the industry and get paid for doing a job. Or be a mug to yourself, and live on the poverty line. Or if your lucky, your Mum and Dad might pay your way.

So... erm... I bought my plane tickets last night. Fly out September 12th. No turning back...
Can't wait to escape this fucking nightmare of a place. Now everything is starting to rub me the wrong way. I can't work at 100%, my mind is on other things. I'm so tempted to quit outright and spend the next 2 months enjoying myself before I go but I need the money. I can't let myself do anything stupid.

Believe me I'm tempted. Today's been one shit minute after another.
Flat inspection yesterday so had to hide all the stuff in case they suspected more than one person was living there. She couldn't stay in the flat either so had to come to work with me. Boss took a flying freakathon and wrote me a letter calling it 'unacceptable'. I thought I worked somewhere pretty relaxed and open about things but I suppose I was wrong.
How many nails does it take to seal a coffin?

mm the sad thing is most design jobs have turned into office jobs that no longer feel like creative studios..pretty though my mac is ..office life can suck the life from you ..mmm .maybe you need time apart from machinary ..maybe you should go beat your drum in the jungle ...or maybe a new scene will do it ..edinburgh is not overflowing with stuff to fuel a designer so why not skip to the beat of your heart and go west
