8 month airport express, its dying by losing signal or full signal but no internet connection.
updating the firm ware just made it worst.
so called apple. customer service cant help. customer relations cant help me, techinical cant help me cause i dont have apple care. the stores cant help me cause i dont have case number from the tech support.
everyone keep passing the buck. apprently the 1 year warranty is worth nothing

dinky. i'm in the same boat. mine lasted about 9 months. I thought it was my internet provider, until I plugged the line directly into the powerbook, worked fine. Started messing with the Airport Express, yup... it was fucked, and like you said... Apple was like 'sorry charlie'. I'm pissed.

Yup our AirPort Extreme sucks ass too. I bought a Linksys high powered router for the same price plugged it in at home and it hasn't lost a connection yet. AirPort goes up and down all the time.

is there an alternative for the AirportExpress? The only real attractive thing about this product is the fact that i can play and control music streaming to my speakers with iTunes. Is there an other product that will let me do this?
