Just launched today with the May 1st Reboot.
Looking for crits/advice as I'll be using this in looking for a new job.
I'm mainly looking in Chicago/Boston. If anyone knows of anything there or elsewhere, I'd be infinitely grateful!

i think the work is solid and the layout is nice, but the type is way too small. i can't read it... at least without really straining.

i think that you need to embed your font if you are using dynamic text, they are showing up all small and pixelated. also the images that looks like you took yourself need to be lightened unless you are going for a dark look, but compared to your other images it looks like you just need to adjust the ones you took.

type setting is way too small- and i got great peepers.

mmm...crap! Looks clear on my screen and the others I tested it on!
I'm using a pixel font - I'll bump it up to the next size over lunch break. Is the color making it too hard to read as well?
Do the photos look too dark or just too much contrast? I was kind of proud of them!
As for the quality/selection of work - any comments?

Yea, the menu text and stuff looks about 6px on the size.
Nice stuff though!
As for the fotos, it looks like you meant to do that - I kind of like it.

pictures are dim- but I like the way they load. it feels like a flashlight is being beamed on the work. Maybe an unitended effect. You might show some where the lightswitch is thrown.
I might soften the bg black.
fonts also greek for me

thanks - much appreciated!
I really love small pixel fonts. Guess I went overboard.
For the photos, I wanted to give the print pieces a more dramatic, tangible quality than just a flat screenshot. Plus, the colors come out different printed.
Keep 'em coming!

OK - beefed up the font size on the copy areas and lightened up the images.
Any new opinions?
Thanks much.

who do I blame for this styley?
I like it, but I need someone to hang for its prevalence.
- nocomply0
Font still seems really small to me.
- madirish0
to be honst, i see no difference.
the work is fine, but the user experience of the site nav is horrid.
- kyl30
on your websites, Please show one 'full page' layout. It's hard to get the feel when there are only details posted
- soCivilized0
tunial - are you referring to the style of my portfolio site or my work in general? Do you feel there is a way I could improve it?
nocomply - do you mean the fonts in the navigation buttons or the copy?
- nocomply0
I'm talking about both, but especially the nav on the homepage. If you're going to use fonts that small, at least make it a non-serif. The grey on black may look nice, but it doesn't make the text any easier to read.
- soCivilized0
Horrid? Ouch. Ok, I'l enlarge the nav fonts too. That seems to be the main gripe.
I'll also get some full screen pics of the sites too.
- madirish0
well, maybe horrid was harsh. ;) i mean by that, the way-finding is so hard to read/use that it hurts. the contrast is very dim and the size is so small- and i got *super* vision on a high-res monitor.
just make it more usable. otherwise it is fine
- nocomply0
usability first!
- soCivilized0
Hey, I don't mind if it's harsh if I need to hear it. Blast away!
If you guys aren't tired of looking at it, I increased the font sizes, added those full page screenies, and added a stroke around the image area.
Any further crits?
My deepest thanks!!
- madirish0
honestly, much better.
good luck mang

Pretty slick mang.
Thanks for bumping up the font for my old eyes.
I'm really digging how super clean it is, and I'm impressed you got it all to work with only black, white and gray. Fuckin ace.
*bookmarked.
