how do you know what stocks to pick TK?
when you say pension do you mean an IRA? your ira gets 10-20%?

i got IRA and SEP and invested in some index funds, international funds, mid cap growth, etc... trying to create well balanced portfolio. i maxed out the contribution this year.so far, they are all doing well gaining 10-20% interest with in the last year.
picking stocks, i do a lot of research and read articles on hot picks. i sold most of my stocks and moved to mutual funds since they are easier to manage. and picking funds, i did a lot of research too.
also, i got saving account with 3-4% interest.
i think i need a financial advisor though...

oh yeah!!! just got the good news.

only had to pay in 1200 this year. I had a piece of rental property that's sat empty since june, so that saved my ass this year :)
