right, my hosting company is half that price, has all the same features and I had to call them 2 weeks ago and was on hold for 30 seconds.
More power to anyone that wants to support MT and everything they do for the community, but be for real.

I use gate.com
I have them because it gives me 200 gigs a month of transfer and I get a lot of traffic on friday jams.

Yes I'll admit I haven't shopped around much.
I can't prove anything more than the fact that MT is good.
I have had experience dealing with 2 other hosting companies and they were totally sub-par compared to MT.
So I guess you can say I like MT. Maybe not raging hard-in like them, but definitely flag at half mast like them.

it doesnt offer the same. It doesnt offer FMS although it does offer a load of bandwidth.

I'm not bagging on MT, I'm just saying that it isnt the be all end all of hosting.

simple.. for under $10 they offer the most stuff.
I went shopping for hosting the other week and some of the others had better this or that... but over all MT offered the most of what "I" wanted for only $8 a month.
screw the hype.

honestly, for 2 bucks a month, I get the same thing without the logo.

MT are good but the logo on the site thing is getting a bit sad - its all about being able to show the world that you're part of a club - great! plus i'm not that excited about PLESK. for me they have branded themselves well but the product isn't overwhelmingly the best on the market. so you choose its a free world!
