It's time to switch...
- jamble0
It makes the prospect of my imminent switch a little less scary since I'll be able to keep hold of my software.

I love how well copy-written that page is. At the same time as telling you how great apple is for supporting windows, it also snidely slags off microsoft at every available opportunity.
classic :o)

i'd only use it for 3d and etc.
using internet on pc is just a bad ideas.
i am gonna wait another 4-6mo till i buy macintel.
- IRNlun60
what would be nice would be to have a Mac OS loaded on a PC. especially if I could roll it back a couple versions for testing...

Baskerville...our copywriter over here just emailed almost exactly what you posted!

man that rocks.
I've been thinking about getting a laptop for the wife. Now I can get a mac and be able to have access to both worlds. This has some serious potential...
Also this is great for me work. My office is all PC. Now I can get them to order a Mac 'cus I can run windows and be able to "test" in OSX.

i don't get it. if you want windows, why not use a pc? you can build a computer that is equal in power to a g5 for about 1/2 - 2/3 the price, including the monitor and all that jazz.
- mrbee28280
prodigalslacker i think it's the other way around. like me for example. i'm stuck in the pc world cause it's 1/2 price and i can't afford both. but with one i could affor d a more expensive mac and use it primarily and then run 1 or 2 things and test in windows. i'd buy a mac for $2500 say if i didn't need to buy a $2500 mac AND a $1000 pc.

mrbee2828, i'm not sure i understood your post. ?? is that engrish?

i'm with tkmeister. this would be ideal for 3D work...but that's pretty much it. Oh, and maybe for gaming. Yea, definitely for gaming. That is the only real potential I see for this. That and that fact it allows small businesses that wanted to use mac's but couldnt find decent hr/accounting software avail for pc, a chance to finally have the mac office they wanted.
still i'm skeptical. its almost like bmw saying they'll start making their seats larger, add 10 more cupholders, add hella buttons on the dash and put on 15" tires with huge michelins to appeal more to fat overweight buyers. cause they like, really want them to drive bmw's.
- CyBrainX0
I think it's a great feature. Who wouldn't want both for merely the additional price of Windows XP?
I'll take a 17" MacBook when it's available.
- rasko40
some people are fucking stupid.. look - if you dont need it-you dont need to install it OKAY YOU IDIOTIC WHINGERS?!
- mrdobolina0
You people are looking at this strictly from a mac-centric POV.
The reason for this is to finally get people to switch to the mac. No matter what OS they are using they are still selling laptops, get it?
- mrdobolina0
those jerkoffs that work the genius bar are going to have lots of reading to do.
