don't hate me because I'm a beautiful troll
- madirish0
ha! "troll"? don't think so

how many of us are in the SF Bay Area?
*raises hand
drinks some night maybe?
If you want to see a beautiful example of modern museum architecture check out the de Young, beautiful building. My architect friends wouldn't shut up about the place.
Twin Peaks is also an amazing view of the city.
Coit tower is dumb, Kid Robot is wicked, Amoeba in SF is better, and Union Squre is a big outdoor mall/tourist trap.
The Castro is a neat little neighborhood (bring on the gay jokes).
And since my company just bought your company don't forget to stop by San Jose and see the lab here :P

any good record shops?
Theres rasputin on powell street (I think its powell), then there is also lost weekend in the mission I think.skate shops? Theres DLX on market - but there are a ton of skate shops in sf too.
graf shops? you could buy some markers next door at FLAX.
bars? the best bars are in the east bay (the ruby, mallard, albatross, hotsi totsi), but Zeitgeist is probably the best in the city.

any shows or anything going on this weekend?

www.flavorpill.com for SF events. I also have good luck just wandering around and chancing upon fun stuff.
yeah, im in the Santa Teresa Lab. Where in SJ did you grow up, Madirish?
The buzz in my circle has been all about the 500 club for a bar in SF.

this thread smells like it's been shat on by a young, hip San Fransican...
- ninjasavant0
yes, it smells like synergy.

cool ninja. i grew up in the Willow Glen area. definitly not my "cup of tea" but it was good nonetheless. i know that campus you are on well. i didn;t know there was so much design going on there though.
- ninjasavant0
I've only lived downtown. The design going on here is an interesting animal. . . but thats another thread about taking a relatively unsatisfying job for ungodly cash or taking a challenging job for less money.
