The design going on here is an interesting animal. . . but thats another thread about taking a relatively unsatisfying job for ungodly cash or taking a challenging job for less money.

There are lots of things listed. One of the best sites to see what's going on in SF."Lush Lounge" bar is pretty cool on Polk St. and Post St.
http://www.thelushlounge.com/The whole Polk St. (Nob Hill part) is pretty cool actually, a lot of different restaurants (Thai, Indian, Japanese, Pakistanian, Italian, Greek, etc... ) All within 4 blocks of walking.
Please don't go to Alkatraz or Fisherman's Wharf... It's lame. And don't take those small little electric cars... you'll look like a tourist.
Oh, and if you need to get the best haircut, go to Metamorphosis Salon on 1841 Market St. My friend Stas is going to make you and your gf look fabulous. Tell them i referred you for even better service ;)
