Just out of curiosity, what is Edmonton like?

The Fourth Amendment reads:
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Not to hi-jack, but what do you all think of Halifax, maybe not so much for work but more so living. I have this desire (since I have lived in the same room for nearly 21 years) to move out east from Toronto for the summer, and rent out a student apt (since they are on 12 month lease and may want to rent it out) and just get a shitty job and do some freelance or personal work.

I've never been to Edmonton, but I'm really in no hurry to go either.
From what I understand it's more like Houston than it is like Paris.
I've heard that Halifax is where it's at though as far as a city to visit. I've got a few friends that have gone there and loved it.
I think you have to like pubs though. And drinking. A lot of drinking.

Thats cool, yeah I have visited Halifax but only for 2 days, dying to go back, had a nice atmosphere there in the summer, I'd have to look into rent costs there, I wonder if it's any cheaper than TO.
I know James (presstube) went to NSCAD for some time there and told me it was a pretty cool city. Who know if i'd find any freelance work wihout knowing anyone there.

Halifax is a lot cheaper than the T dot. It's a nice creative scene in Halifax, but also moderately depressing. Tough to find work, but there are a few peeps on NT from out there. Plus one guy from All maple, Kerry is out there and you could drop him a line..http://www.mlmedia.ca/kml... he's a really nice guy..
