UK Smoking Ban

I am undecided in this matter...
Coming from Toronto, Canada where we felt the ban over a year ago....
At first I was vexed, but then I realized how much bettter I felt the next day having smoked less. Now in the Netherlands I really hate stinking like smoke all the time...
But damn, I like being able to smoke almost wherever I want...

In California most smokers agree that it's better to go outside. Not a huge hassle. Most pubs build nice accommodations, like turn alleys into, essentially a part of the building or tables in outdoor areas.
Smelling good is good. Of course it would probably suck if we had real weather, sorry about that one.

There is a lot more that goes on when they ban smoking in bars besides your precious clothes not smelling like cigs.
Blue collar and factory bars shut down because their clientele isn't about to go outside to smoke, they will just stay home where they can do what they like, revenue to the bar drops off and business' that have been in operation for 30 years shutdown.
This happens in every city that implements these bans.
All so you can go home and not wash your queer diesel jeans 2 days in a row, you selfish fucks.

are there not ways around this in the US? Many Canadian pubs/bars legally became "Private clubs" where you paid a "membership fee" and somehow they could allow smoking...
